Thanks Ed. Note the merrrowed edge. Not sure about the colour, it looks more like a medium green?

Question Ed. What are the official designations for the new divisions?

Since we showing off the new, ugly in my opinion, Divisional patches, here is the 5th Canadian Division - obverse and reverse. I can't say that I am love with the colour as opposed to The Second World War ones.

Agree with you Gary. That is fuschia or pink, not maroon.
Ed, There is no Canada in the official designation?

Default Divisions

Yes, each one has Canadian in the name.

For example, 4th Canadian Division

Colours were researched by DHH and pantones will apparently be rigorously enforced. It's probably harder to compare colours over the internet than in person given the difficulty in matching monitor settings. There has been much discussion here in 3rd Canadian Division about what "French Grey" is, but having seen the Pantone, I think they came up with a nice final version.

I am sure there will be much hand-wringing no matter what they come up with, though given the variances in the original wartime patches.

Bill, the new divisions are now active.

Here is the website for the 3rd Canadian Division:

Understood that the divisions are active. What I was wondering, based on Ed's first answer was the official designation for the formations. It does include "Canadian", which will help clarify the use of the term.
