Hi Chaps,

These collars do turn up from time to time. In the last ten years I have seen 5 or 6 pairs and a few singles. There is also a really lovely matching cap badge. None are maker marked and all have the exact same look and finish to the back (a slight dark tarnish/discolouring).

Hi guys
Interesting thread.
A few years ago, I purchased several sets of officer’s badges from a chap in the US who stated that they were ex firmin stock.
He had a couple of sets of each and I should have bought them all but was sceptical also of the provenance, until they arrived and saw the quality.
These are my pair.
What are your thoughts on these? Looks like the same die?

I agree with Luc, they appear to be very similar and I suspect that they might well have been made by Firmin, it does make sense as they made the KC examples, but, I have yet to see any evidence that they were ever worn.
