Default Royal Sussex WW2 soldier details
Afternoon all.
A lady in our legion group asked me to see if I could find out any details on her Grandad who she is sure was Royal Sussex.
All I have currently is his name and year or birth.
David Frederick Hollingsworth born in 1916.

Nothing in the casualty lists which are one of the few sources of information for WW2 British soldiers.

He was born at Battle, Sussex in 1916. He died in 2001. I have found one newspaper article dating from the 1960s which shows that he was a butcher by trade.
