Default Sea Cadet Badges

Here's an interesting photo I came across of RCSC badges along with some from Royal Roads Military College. Did sea cadets even have trade badges before the 1950 Canadianization of RCN trade badges? There are a few interesting trades pictured that didn't exist when I was a sea cadet such as the AM one (armourer's mate I assume), quarter Rate, AA rate, air fitter, and TAS rate. Some ones we had that I don't see here are cook, shipwright, sailmaker, scuba, or admin writer.

Note the collar rank pins at the top left for RCSC officers in khaki uniforms with the anchor instead of curl.
