Made up fantasy/dud: "WW2 Canadian Navy Cap Badge"
I posted this in another topic (Infantry section) as an add on to some other fake badges an ebay vendor has been hawking of late, & post here in the RCN section so no one might be taken in by this fantasy made up "badge" - NO SUCH BADGE EXISTED IN THE RCN at ANY PERIOD!

I have noticed it on eBay. The centre is a uniform button. The rest, I guess someone had some fun creating a badge.

Yes that certainly appears the case, I have seen a few 'made up' RCN badges in the past but this one, I have to says,takes the prize for being the weirdest!
But what amazes me is that a major & experienced Canadian badge/medal dealer would not pick up on the fact that this is just a fantasy of someone's imagination! RCN B
