Default Tank and Ram badge.

A not very good photograph of the Calgary Regiment (Tank) taken in July 1941. On that one we can see that they are wearing the "tank badge" and also the "Ram badge" but, also the cloth shoulder title (see post by DwayneH on this). I thought this would be good information to share with you.

Jo, Excellent reference photo. Note the size of the shoulder title.

Bill, that's why I made a reference to Dwayne's post on this subject.

Default 1942 troop snapshot

I have among my collection a photo album from a trooper that was in the Calgary Tank Regiment up until July of 1942 (just before Dieppe). There are a few snapshots of training and tanks. I thought this troop snapshot taken in the spring of 1942 (May or June) would be of interest. Though a little blurry, it does show the size and how light the Dieppe period shoulder titles are. Also in evidence are the Tank and Ram shoulder patches.

Hi Bill, nice photograph IMO better than the archives ones posted because it's not posed.
Congrats
