Hi,

Some more of my brass numerals, one of which is made by Stokes.

All approximately between 19mm - 20mm in height.

Cheers,

Invest

Here is my small collection, picked up whenever they crop up at a reasonable cost ..... which isn't often

Always on the look out for any South Aussie numerals

Are there anymore out there?

Cheers,

Dan

Hi BC,

Always open to trades

As previously mentioned I'm on the lookout for any SA numerals, so still looking for -

22
24
76
79
80
81
82

Any of mine that aren't SA could be trades, there are also two 78s so one could also be available.

Cheers,

Dan

Is this Australian and, if so, can anyone tell me more about it? I bought it several years ago hoping it may be an 18th (Royal Irish) Regiment Kilmarnock forage cap badge. I know little to nothing of these numerals and have long thought that it might, in fact, be Australian.

thanks in advance for any help.

John

Hi John,

As you no doubt can see for yourself your badge isn't similar to those shown throughout this thread. I've always had my doubts of titles without a top bar being Aussie (this includes the typical shoulder titles worn by the AIF), also both numbers aren't in the typical style either.

I know the Canadians made a lot of their titles without a top bar, but I wouldn't know if it's Canadian.

Others may be able to shed more light. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Dan

Hi Geoff,

No message as yet, this morning I changed my email address on my profile which I've only verified since you messaged me so am not sure if that would have anything to do with the delay

The 79 is one I'm interested in. With my collecting I've pretty much restricted myself to 1st AIF and CMF (1912-18 period). I believe I have that FA badge (#33), I'll have to dig it out.

I'll reply to your PM once it arrives ..... soon hopefully

Cheers,

Dan
