Default Grenade badge. RA

I was recently sent a picture of a relative of mine. Taken around 1960....?
He was in the Artillery, but in the picture he has on what looks like a white
Guards type belt, with a round white metal buckle. His cap badge is the Artillery gun, but on his lapel's he is wearing what appear to be white metal
grenade badges.
I'm a bit confused, maybe someone can enlighten me as to this 'mixture' .
I have just found your site and find it really interesting. Thanks

Smudger,

The grenade badges are the standard collar badges for the RA. If you can post a photo then the Arty experts would be able to give you more information.
