Default European Helmet Plate, any thoughts on ID please?

Hi all,

This helmet plate is posted on another forum, not by me. Can anybody help me, to help them, ID it please?

I am quite curious myself.

Thanks,

Phil

Hi Phil,
Always seem to get this wrong, mix up my spanish with danish!
However i think it is a Danish Crown, the interesting thing is it is not crossed cannon but cannon crossed with a 'privateer' axe?
Regards Mark

There is text below the badge, yet it is quite blurry for an easy
ID. However the centre seems to have the royal cypher of Queen Catherine of Braganza

Thank you Gentlemen, the poster had not given any further information than the picture above. I will pass on your thoughts and hopefully it will steer him in the right direction
