Royal Malta Artillery long slider.
This one arrived among some others this morning.A very nice IMO Royal Malta Artillery KC cap badge.
I would be interested to know the type of headdress in which this would have been worn. Please not the long slider length. Grateful for any help Tony.

Tony,
I have a small collection of RMA badges and have checked slider length on the BM ones like yours. One has a slider your length and the other a bit shorter. I dont think there is any indication that they were intended for the pagri or cap due to the slider length, I feel there are just manufacturers variations, but as always may be proved wrong. reagrds
