Default C.E.F. 16th badge question?

Is there a differends in the 16th C.E.F. badge WW1 and WW2? On the photo is a badge I have whit slider.

There never was a 16th bn in WW 2, the parent Regt is the Canadian Scottish & yes the badge is very different. Ray

The 16th Canadian Scottish cap badge was used until circa 1928. At that point, as Ray indicates, a completey different pattern of badge was adopted. (There will be images of one on the registry soon.)
