I just missed out on this lot - the only real item of interest was the badge which I've not seen before. I assume the named RE officer was linked to to the Gurkha Engineers ?

The badge looks like the 'normal' cap badge with the 'bomb' missing/broken off. There was a 2nd Lt Ingram RE attached to the 'Engineer Training Centre' Gurkha Training Squadron in 1952.

Thanks Steve - but I think the angle of the kukris looks flatter than the normal badge? Would have been nice to see a picture of the reverse. Tim

Not sure if you have seen this one Tim, its the new pipers Baldric badge.
