Default Royal Irish Regt OSD

Gentlemen,

Here’s a screamer of a Jennens marked Royal Irish Regt.

Lovely, must be a rare badge. I have seen a number of silver RIR officer badges on sale over the years but I think only one OSD and not a Jennens.
Cheers,
Alex

I would say a fairly scarce badge, worn from the introduction of SD to the point the regiment ceases to exist, you would not find a better example.

They are normally of high quality, I always prefer to see their mark applied to an individual badge, as here, rather than simply applied to the die, very nice.
