Bristol University Air Squadron R.A.F.V.R.
This lot all came together and whilst three of the items are clearly R.A.F related, I cannot find any information regarding the A within a white star cloth badge. Does anyone know its significance?
These items may be offered for sale. |

What size is it? It doesn't bear any relation to RAF badges in terms of construction or colours really. I'm wondering if it is something like a badge from a pennant or similar. It could relate to anything, and is quite possibly civil.

Thank you, there may indeed be no connection other than it came from the same house clearance as the R.A.F. badges. It is quite a large badge measuring 3.5 inches (9 cm) from the tip of each opposing point to the other.
It may have been worn on a football jersey or a track suit. |
