I have been searching for information on this helmet, badge and the laurels below the badge. The date on the liner is 1938 but it is possible this is an upgrade liner on an older helmet.
Any thoughts? 3_32IMAG1406.jpg 3_1Emblem IMAG1382.jpg 3_2IMAG1404.jpg IMAG1384.jpg |

Looks like a RA collar badge above a broken Cheshire Regiment collar badge.
I’ll leave it to the helmet experts to comment further but suffice to say I am always highly cynical of unusual insignia being painted or stuck to tin hats. Several well know eBay crooks are infamous for sexing up such items to increase their value. |

A few more pictures of the helmet may be useful.

The Cheshire Regiment's 6th Bn supplied men for the 6th (Cheshire & Shropshire) Medium Brigade. Royal Garrison Artillery in 1920 - which in 1921 became 60th Medium Regt, RGA.
Possible connection? Jon |
