Victorian Army Medical Service Officers field cap

my most recent purchase, late Victorian Army Medical Service staff officer blue field cap, with stunning bullion badge, bullion wire piping to crown and skirt with fretted gilt buttons by Jennens & Co. The cap is lined in leather and is maker marked to Hawkes & Co of no. 14 Piccadilly.

I also show it with some other late Victorian and Edwardian field caps

Pretty cool! I didn't know that glengarry...wich regiment is?

The Welsh regiment, it was the standard cap in the 1880's to 1896.

Very nice indeed, I have two very rare early New Zealand Medical officers caps, one Victorian and one Edwardian.

This one would have been used in New Zealand from the 1860s to 1880s.
