Default Help with Hallmark

Hi All
Could somebody please tell me who the maker is and the date of this hallmark? I have searched the web but can't find any Birmingham dates later than 1924, so this must be sometime after then. The maker stamp is 'GP' and the date letter is a 'P' inside a square with chamfered corners.
It has the anchor and lion so I'm sure it is Birmingham.
Thanks in advance. Cheers,
Alex

The only P within a inside a square with chamfered corners for Birmingham is 1864.
However, your P does not have serifs - as the B'ham one has - it is much more likely to be London 1950.
I can see the sterling lion but I cannot make out an 'anchor' - are you sure it is not the leopard face of London ??
I couldn't find a PG but what is the second mark ??

Thanks for the replies, that's great. The second mark is a 925 mark for sterling. The actual hallmarks are very small. Did you find the date stamps online? And if so, any chance of a link?
Cheers,
Alex
