Bedfordshire Rifles
Afternoon All,
I've had this a while now, Bedfordshire Rifles and possibly a cross belt plate? I'm not sure as I've never seen another & hope some of our Bedford experts may be able to help. It's 90mm x 58mm, no fixings present to the rear, shown alongside a Herts Yeo collar for scale too. Any help or thoughts welcome, Thank you Gents, Wilf. |

Ist Bedfordshire Rifle Volunteer Corps. 1880 to 1887. Became the 3rd Volunteer battalion The Bedfordshire Regiment.
This is the Helmet plate. I would think yours is the glengarry badge. Is there any sign of fittings ? |
