Camerons? badge
This one has me baffled. Akin to a Cameron Highlanders badge, but smaller (I'm guessing a collar badge). St. Andrew in centre, thistle spray to right, maple leaves to left. Scroll at bottom reads (in Greek) ANDRIZESTHE KRATAIOTSTHE (be a man; be strong if I remember correctly).
Small brass plate on back (would not scan properly!) thats seems to read GAUNT LONDON. Two lugs to rear E/W. Any ideas? Canadian? Dean |

This badge has been in use since c. 1910 and the cadet corps still use the same one.

A link to the history overview of No 142. http://www.armycadethistory.com/Cade.../db_cc_142.htm.
And a link to the badges. Scroll down to #142. http://www.armycadethistory.com/hat_badges_collars.htm The site date for the badge is the introduction of the badge. I am not sure if the badge is still in use or if it has been replaced.

Again, my thanks to all for the ID and info. Had not seen this one before. Now to find other "unknown-to-me" badges...
