Default Montgomershire Yeo or Brecknockshire?

I am struggling to decide whether the men in these photographs are in the Montgomeryshire Yeomanry or the Brecknockshire battalion. I am tendng to plump for the former due to the presence of the QSA medals. Could anyone please confirm one way or the other? I may be offering the post cards for sale at a later date.

How can you mistake these grunts (Puddle Jumpers) for skilled horseman? Honestly, nowadays you just can't get the staff

Default 2nd VB SWB

Hi,
They look like 2nd VB SWB or 1st Monmouthshire Regiment, can't quite see the cross belt badge.

I should stress that there are two separate photographs, one pre 1908 and the other probably taken around 1914. Both photographs came from the same source. There is no location recorded on either post card.

I would say Mons for the 1914 pics in SD, Brecknocks in my collection look quite different to those for the Mons I have which look the same as these.
