Default This old chestnut again

Gentlemen, I apologise for seeking your opinions on this badge which has been discussed several times, but I really would appreciate your opinions before I consign it to the dustbin of history. It appears to have a small flag above the Link and the numeral 5 is very close to the hub. I think it is a fake. Thanks in advance.
