P.P.A. title on ebay
I would be grateful for some feedback regarding this title on ebay, also does anyone know the sellers reputation?
I have my suspicions regarding this item but would like others opinions please. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...m/254193198119 Thanks, Jack. |

Usual Pakistani type fake
Unfortunately I bet the seller won’t have a clue it’s a bad one - looks like he’s a general seller of militaria SC |

Keith flagged this a couple of years back - same seller for sure (might even be the same badge!)

It is the same seller and fake title.
Prospective buyers beware. Keith

Looking at the prices he charges for his other listed items I'm surprised he sells anything at all!

Thanks for your contributions gents, you have confirmed my suspicions.
It is surprising that a seller of fakes can have over 2000 positive feedback comments on eBay. Jack. |

I dare say this particular seller would struggle to lie straight in bed.

I strongly believe a family member trades as weytreasure.
Same surname, same location, same background on various items and not entirely au fait with military insignia either. |

Positive feedback only means the item purchased arrived.
Many bidders rely on the description. After all it’s fraud to knowingly sell a fake item as genuine whether it’s designer clothes, electricals or antiques and collectibles. Sadly I believe most misplace their trust in the sellers honesty and the similarly misplaced belief that e*ay and consumer law (Trade Descriptions Act 2011) would take action and prevent such dishonest or ignorant sellers from trading on their platform. Certainly a few may get an incline or even realise but vast majority of people who buy trash do not know the difference. Look through all the fake sellers on eBay, all have glowing feedback and certainly none have scores of ‘badge arrived, it’s fake, unhappy’ etc. Ignorance is bliss until they join a forum like this one. |

Information on forums can certainly help but sometimes it can also be wrong, lacking in detail or members that have the right information don't see the question that is posted.
Research is the key. One should always have an enquiring mind.

I have just had a browse and a chuckle at the stock they have and the prices they are asking.
I can hear a conversation 1. 'when will you get rid of all this tat' 2. 'I will put in on ebay' 1. 'About time, all this clutter' 2.'it will go in no time' 1. 'Good!' 2. hehe they will never sell at those prices and I get to keep it all! |
