Australia Return from Active Service pin..??

Have this Australian pin and am not familiar with them at all..WWI, WWII,..??...it has a number and a maker on the reverse, but not the usual "go to jail if you wear this" verbiage..the kind of attaching lugs I have seen before...looks pretty new..this is out of my realm and would like some thoughts on these...was trying to put together a frame of Commonwealth WWI Service Pins and want one from Australia to complete the frame..
