St John Fusiliers & Edmonton Fusiliers
These two units had embroidered shoulder titles in pale blue on a dark maroon colour. Does anyone know the reason for this colour choice, and was there any significance to the colours? Was there any connection?

Sorry Bill, I don't know the significance of the colours but I noticed a St. John Fusiliers Shoulder badge available on eBay...

Thanks CB. That is the more common of the two embroidered titles for the unit. The harder to find one is the St.John Fus (M.G.), same colours.

I don't know why Bill, but the St John Fusiliers lanyard is made up of these two colours.
