Default 25th Dragoons Indian made?

I'm after some help on this one, it looks Indian made, thoughts on it being a genuine item would be appreciated.

I think that is okay, where did you find it?

Okay, well, just from the photographs, I don't think it is wrong, but, better examples were certainly made.

Frank agreed not the prettiest badge.
Any thoughts on the makers mark I think it reads M44.
