Default Indian Airborne Wing?

This to me has all the hallmarks of a WW2 Indian Airborne parachute wing.

I would appreciate comments/thoughts.

I would agree - although not an expert on these and welcoming further opinion.

An honest genuine example , the dots /knots at the top of the parachute rigging line directly below the canopy are what i like to see - but that`s just my rule of thumb.

Nice set, I got this set today along with an Indian made bugle, both came from a house clearance in West Wales.

Nice one Jerry! My first impression was that Jon's example originally had blue wings that were faded by the sun but your example shows it is not the case.

Thanks Jon.

Yes Luc, they do appear to be from the same maker and a white colour rather than bleached out blue.

I was very pleased to get them as I had long wanted some Indian wings to go with my Indian Peggies. They were also very cheap.

The bugle is dated 1943 by Nadir Ali & Co of Meerut with a faded green tassle, I wonder if it is related to an Indian Airborne Unit.

Here's one from my collection in used condition. From a different manufacturer than the examples shown above and probably also all white and not sun bleeched as I always believed it to be.

Lots of manufacturers variations of these, I think, just from the photograph, you are okay with that example, they used to be very easy to find, sadly, those days are long gone, where did you find that one?
