Default Is it a TV prop???

Hi
I've picked up this this fusilier's badge with its hackle and I want to know if I've got a prop from Soldier Soldier or if it belongs to another regiment other than the 'King's Royal Fusiliers!' It seems genuine enough. Can anyone help?

Made originally for the 'Soldier Soldier' series, way back in 1991!

See Robin Hodges book, 'British army badges', page 531.

I believe they were made by a guy by the name of Hammond[?], now deceased, who started the AMMO brand, now owned by Dolman & Narborough in Birmingham.

The badges are quite common [I have about 6 left from when I was able to purchase the residual stock after the company changed hands] but the hackles are rarely seen. If you are eagle eyed, you will sometimes see the badge in other military dramas, so the props company must still have a few lying around.
