Default RE officers beret







I recently got this RE officers beret I think its a Kangol and Im not sure of its age it has some light wear to the badge but all in all its in pretty good shape. does any body have any ideas on its era

It does appear to be a kangol, possibly wartime on into 1950's if it has no slider pocket. Sometimes gently wetting the liner will bring out the markings

It has a slider pocket and I will try damping the liner and see if the print comes out. I think there may be a metric size 56 printed at the bottom of the stitched diamond.

Makes it 1960's or later, especially with the metric size, I think that is 70's.
