Default Cloth tank badge

Hi,
does anybody have any idea how old this badge could be? It looks to be made of BD type material.

Cheers,
Rick

I have a vague knowledge about this insignia. It was used in by troops in an armoured regiment during their training in Canada in the Second World War. It may have been just issued to the officer trainers. I don't think they were ever worn overseas by Canadians.
