Default AD wings to ID pse

Checked google images and only the standard Air Despatch UK etc comes up. This one has foxed me for years! Anyone know what this wing is?
Thanks in advance.
Matt

I have never seen a reference to a double winged AD Brevet

Default Double wings

Mike all Air Despatch wings are double:
Rhodie, Brit, Aussie and here are my NZ ones. Think the ones trying to ID from another country but which?
Cheers and stay safe

This pattern was used as the first British type. However it was not used for very long. I think this is mentioned in Brian L Davis’ book. British Army Uniforms & Insignia of World War Two
Post war an identical AD wing was produced for Ghana’s Air Despatchers.

Default AD Ghana

Hi Ian,
Thanks for that, if you get a spare mo you couldn’t find the David Ref if you hand? I am going to write an AD wing article in their 47 ADs newsletter…. I like the Ghanaian ref as couldn’t recall seeing something on eBay once but forgot the country. Although, thought Ghana loves embellishing all their badges with its star?
Many thanks in advance
Kind regards
Matt

Shown in Davis on page 73 as RASC Air Despatcher's qualification wings (first known pattern).

I think it might be Nigerian Army?

Many thanks for the Ref and will look into that - will ask a mate with a copy -
interesting Nigerian, will have a look into that too.
Again, much appreciated.
All the best.

Default ID Confirmed

Found a couple of refs from friends and they cross check that the AD wings are confirmed GAF Ghanaian Air Force.
Thanks all mystery solved.
