Sergeant of the Mutton Lancers instructing
This short instructional film shows a very smart Sergeant from The Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment. Note the highly polished badges and blancoed stripes. A real English regiment and very handsome badges.

CB, Excellent film and done early in the war as they are wearing LDV instead of HG armbands.
One thing that stood out to me as the Sgt. was pointing out the various parts of the rifle is that he forgot ot mention the trigger! I do like that he nicely explained about aiming at a target. Many people new to guns think that if they are looking at the target the gun is aimed at it as well. That was a lesson I learned early in my cowboy shooting and is something I see so many new shooters as guilty of it as I was. Thanks for sharing! Terry |
