Default New Addition to my FANY Collection

This is a real show stopper for me. I have been a FANY fan for a very long time and even wrote them seeking this badge, but they advised me they could not sell me one. Thanks to a good friend on the forum I now have it, and I am so very grateful to him for his kindness.

Thanks C,

Terry

Jon, I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're asking me. The item they would not sell me is the beret badge pictured.

Hi Jon,

No worries at all. I should have been more clear in my original post.

It is the current beret badge they wear. Here's a picture that I hope is helpful.

I am now trying to find out if the text on their metal badge is different from that of WW2, and if so am seeking one of those and collars as well. And of course the FANY title.

Hi Terry
From around the 7 o'clock position of the badge around clock wise to the 5 o'clock position it says Princess Royal's Volunteer corps, in the gap t the bottom it has the FANY acronym.
Hope this helps mate.

Hi Chris,

Yep, that is what I was expecting the current badge to read, and thank you very much for the photo. Now to get one!!! I already have both the WW1 and WW2 badges and thanks to a fellow member got the current beret badge!

French parachute wings as FANY(PRVC) volunteers can attend the French para school for a two week course and "win" their wings, French of course.
