Missed a white metal glengarry sold via Bosleys ,so these are out there somewhere
Wanted
Dauntseys school no C C F
the current Warminster c c f red lion on dark green square and rank slide - cadet in red /Warminster /SCHOOL /C C F
I did write to the school asking if they could direct me to their suppler ,received no response which is about standard these days [always enclosed stamped S A E]
Re Dauntseys School I have a letter dated 3/12/83 from Major Jack Burrows [Q M ]that the unit was assisted by the Wiltshire Depot staff as no unit badge was worn I have assumed the Wiltshire/D E R R cap badge was worn

Nice surprise arrived today having written to the school commandant in January 2 Warminster School combined cadet force t r f arrived today In my Wiltshire cadet album and gallery

Does the Westbury Matrvers School CCF have their own badge?

We are currently down to 3 companies in the County due to the chronic shortage of adults including Officers. The current Companies are know as Juno, Gold and Sword. Not sure what the specific Wiltshire interest is in these names.

The County have issued Wiltshire ACF Jubilee Coins to all the cadets and a pin badge the cadets can wear for the rest of the year. Something else you may want to source.

Re Matravers school [state school ] only have them as badges to A A C affiliated to 1 reg A A C based at Yeovilton not aware of any other insignia I had them on formation as badged to air training corps ,any idea when they rebadged to A A C

This is the cloth badge and pin badge the cadets have been issued. They were all also issued with a Commemorative Coin.

I will let you know. The adults also got the Coin and pin badge but not the cloth badge. I am waiting to hear if there are any left or I may have to wait until someone hands in theit kit or mug a cadet!
