6th Inniskilling Dragoons 1883
Hello Gents,
Recent ancestry research has revealed my great, great grandfather William Fisher on my mother’s side served in 1883 as a Armoury SGT in the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons in Brighton. Also on currently on EBay their is a joint photograph of the 6th’s NCOs in 1898. Can anyone inform me if the 6th Armoury SGT has it’s own trade badge as I can just make out some badges on the photograph? I could find no details of his service but I did notice he did not serve in WW1. I noticed on a previous post re the 6th a arm badge with the initials WHP scratched on the reverse, maybe coincidence my great grandfather’s on my father’s side was WHP! Thanks for any help. Probably Hammer and Pincers in bullion embroidery worn above NCO chevrons.
