St.Marys College Crosby CCF- new arm badge
With thanks to a friend who is an officer in the unit ,in this mornings post are two examples of a new arm badge which was has been produced for St.Mary`s College, Crosby CCF and which is a representations of the schools badge.
In a similar way to the new sign for Merseyside ACF which is shown in the latest Formation Sign (Issue 257 page 5 ) these are Velcro backed and are attached to a Velcro backed piece of DPM material which incorporates a stitched on Union Flag. There was a female officer of the unit at the recent Military Fair at St. Georges Hall, Liverpool who was wearing this badge ( and the Parachute Regiment cap badge in her blue beret ) At the last Liverpool ( Whiston ) Fair I was talking to a gentleman who had been a cadet NCO in St.Marys College CCF in the 1950`s when the unit was affilitated to the Liverpool Irish. He still has his cap badge and cloth titles and promised to E mail me a picture of them. I should have taken his details as so far he has not got back to me and the design and colour of the cloth titles are a query I have been trying to answer for some considerable time. P.B.

Just had confirmation from the contingent commander about the earlier arm badge which I have been trying for some time to get confirmation that it was actually worn .
