I’ve looked for some information on this DPM brassard please?
Army Medical service with NO stamp seems to be WW1 era (online)
This however has a crown and thistle stamp in the middle.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks
Jon

Jon, It looks to be from the Bosnia event in 1992-95. I say that as usually only the armbands with the official stamp like yours are because they are worn in a combat area. And also because of the DPM material. I have several like it, and my prize piece is a named one from that conflict. The stamp on mine is a bit worn, but in person you can see it.

I have another one that does not have the stamp so assume it was just used in the UK.

If you decide to part with it, I would be interested.

Terry

Default Thanks Terry

You’ve nailed it mate by the look of it.
I’ve several bits and pieces set aside to send you photos of mate.
I’ll put this aside too Terry.
Love the provenance to yours!

Jon,

Here's a picture of one of my other Medic Brassards, which is like the one you have.
