Default British Cockpit Clock

Picked up this clock.
I couldn't really nail down which model this was or what exact era.
Looks like a MKIIA ??
WW2 Era?
Which aircraft would this be from?
Test sticker is from post war use?

The part number is 6a/579; a quick search suggests it is a WW2 period clock used in Spitfires and various other aircraft.
