Help ID'ing Old Flat Button
I found this old flat button and am looking for some help in identifying it. From what I can find online I believe the backmark is from W (or possibly Edward) Jones of Cork Hill, Dublin, Ireland.
Outer circle: [W or ED Jones Cork] Hill Dublin Center Circle: [Opposit]e the C[astle] Inner Circle: [The King's B]utto[n Makers] The front appears to have a shield with a crown on top with a tree coming out of it and 'Through' across the tree. I am not sure of the age or if this is a livery or military button. The area that I found this had known activity during the U.S. Revolutionary War as well as the War of 1812. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers |

Doesn't match anything on that page. I don't believe it's a Naval button.
