Dean, Now that I'm retired I should Part 2 of Badges of the 1st WW; ie the TF etc badges. They are much more complicated than the regular! However there are a number of documents at the NA and a bit more at NAM.

I look forward to being in the same position Julian as much research to do on a project I hope to share later this year. Look forward to your further work which has done so much to anchor our hobby in truth, cheers Dean.

As to the display boards Conrad I use coloured foamcore to push them or cut slots and slide them in as works well for blades so no bending required. When I am happy with the layout I use coloured felt that I buy at a chain haberdashery shop here in Brisbane. You can just overlay the foamcore and press the badge over the holes/slots and make an impression in the felt and then cut into it. Once you have a badge in each corner you can get the tension right and does look good in real life. I am using green and scarlet.

Cheers Dean

Greetings Dean.

Excellent display......................keep searching for the the T/11/ CoL, there's one out there somewhere with your name on it, that is if Keith doesn't find it first.

Regards.

Brian

I look each and every day thanks Brian. I found one that had just sold and I am sure we all have had that uplifting experience, Keith has a local advantage to the UK market and I am happy if he finds one for his superb collection, cheers Dean

Thanks chaps,

It must have been the childhood stamp collector in me that draws me to want to finish a set.

Scarlet felt for my next ‘set’.

Cheers Dean

It's several years since I have bought a Territorial S/T due to hearing of fakes and not knowing of red flags I should avoid- as London Regiment S/Ts are not cheap, if anyone can give advice on the subject here or via PM I would appreciate the guidance. Regards, Paul.
