The reverse of the star may be different though as it is difficult to pick out specific flaws to reconcile with the modern piece that I have. Chris, as you say the overlays are the same but the stars are different.
Here is another version, the gilt is bright and burnished and the star is frosted silver plate. Scratched with a needle on the reverse, Perth 18-10-89. |
