Default MOD Industrial Patrolman buttons?

Hi all.

To carry on from a previous post, does anyone know if the MOD Industrial Patrolmen (the forebears of the present day MOD guard Service) wore tunics and if so what pattern buttons were worn? and did they wear collar badges too?

Although, prior to the establishment of the MOD Guard Service in 1994 I often saw MOD Industrial Patrolmen on duty at various MOD bases, I only ever saw them wearing grey trousers, navy blue jumpers with light blue police shirts and grey peaked caps with an adonised gold crown cap badge.

I later served 8 years in the MOD Guard Service and was issued with a tunic but never once wore it during my service so would not be surprised if Industrial Patrolmen had tunics issued too?

Thanks

Tony
