3rd (Dundee Highland) VBRH. 1887-1908.
OR's badge with arms of cross cut off silver plated and the lugs re-positioned. Dont think it would be a sweetheart with lugs? |

8th (Crieff) Corps Perthshire Rifle Volunteers. 1860/8
OR's blackened brass pouch badge 53.5 diameter. Circlet inscribed Perthshire Volunteers, to the centre a voided numeral eight. Original fittings removed and two lead soldered loops added E/W. Badge is in semi-relic condition and may have been excavated and cleaned there is corrosion on the face and rim. Never the less a hard badge to find. See my post #144. Durant shows the officers version which he dates to 1860/8. |

Overlay taken from a volunteer officers SBP strangely there is no evidence of the usual N/S fittings to the reverse. Copper gilt overlay fitted with a gilt brass St. Andrew E/W lugs fitted presumably for wear in the glengarry?
