The Leicestershire Regiment acquisition
Hi all,
Here we have an Indian mess servants jacket collar badge or possibly a puggaree badge in cast WM with KC and letters L and R intertwined. Indian mess waiters I am told could not wear the same badges as the regiment that they waited upon. Pictured in Churchill Fig 534 and a larger version was worn in the puggarree but sadly no size provided. Mine is 39x24mm on copper lugs N-S. Regards Dean |

Sorry Wayne had not seen your post. Mess jacket badges are not well documented but Churchill has a few in his collar badge book.
Nothing wrong with tigers. Album will have some new pics soon, cheers Dean. |
