ROYAL ARTILLERY STAFF shoulder title?
I have just received this ROYAL ARTILLERY STAFF S/T and would like to know a bit more about it.
Maybe Mark can enlighten me please? Jerry

Not to completely expose my ignorance Jerry but do I not see another letter entwined with RA, perhaps an “S”? Or is that to balance out the look of the letters above the word “STAFF”? Hopefully, Mark DOES have the answer! Regards, D.J.

Jerry, Simon and Mark, Yes, I now see the downward stroke of the R. I now see in my Westlake (1st supplement, #1873) the badge in question. And Mark, thanks for the heads-up re the fakes! I will now put on my pointy hat and go stand in the corner! Regards to all, David J.
