East anglian brigade, or royal Anglian
This is a great photo. The badge in the middle is almost the size of a helmet plate centre, so I think it must be a large east anglian brigade badge. The royal Anglian pouch badge is the other choice I think

Looking at the hairstyles I'd go with late 50's early 60's, so yes I'd say East Anglian Brigade.

Imo neither,It looks to me like a Lincolnshire badge in the centre. The East Anglian Brigade and Royal Anglian would have had a scroll under the straight line you can clearly see. Also ,no sign of the key of Gibraltar hanging down.

That is definitely an East Anglian Brigade cap badge. I can't recall which one of the regiments wore jeans and striped socks though.

Looks like a Kings crown on the helmet plate so that would date it pre-1953...

Obviously made up for a laugh using a blue cloth helmet with a KC helmet plate and East Anglian Brigade period cap badge by a couple of Junior Leaders and, as noted, dating from the 1950s-1960s.

I think I can see the door, base of castle, key below, and the scroll.

I wish it was true, but sadly any plate will do seem to be the answer, even today , some bands have vic crown plates being worn

There is a k/C band helmet plate on display in the regimental museum of the D &D ,as only formed 1958 there fore not pre 1953 as in post 7 Also I have photo of Q V C helmet plate being worn to D&D 1975 ,1983 [have items in my collection ] There fore I would not use the helmet plate to date ''modern bands ''
