Default Unknown Badge

Hi. I inherited my Fathers collection some time ago and am finally looking at them. This badge has me baffled. Any hekp greatfully accepted

I posted your photo on the South Asian Military Heritage Facebook page and got this answer from one member: 'I can make out the word "Misr" which is Egypt.'
