Just wondering who from the Forum is planning on coming, that I might have a chance to meet?

Maybe we should designate a forum corner and a time. Throw hotdog buns at each other or something.

This is my first year at the show with a table, I'm going to try to get rid of my 50 extra swords and bayonets- not much for cap badges though I'm sure there will be 20 or 30 tables loaded with good ones

Name is Stu, would be nice to meet some people from the forums

I've just made the trip to Calgary a couple of weeks ago for Cataract surgery so I won't be there this year.Would have been great to meet some of you. Would also been great to see all the badges as this probably is the best show in Canada for firearms, Militaria and badges.

With up to 20 cm of snow on the roads and countless cars in the ditch I wonder if this will affect the attendance. I am in Edmonton and was going to come on Thursday and stay over night, but now witha severe winter storm warning will wait maybe until Saturday.

Hi Mike.....

Just saw a road report on TV the roads north of Red Deer are in fair condition and south are fair to good with icy spots.....

We are out of the snow, did not get as much as they said and the sky is sunny and clear right now....

Mike

Default Disappointing

From a badge collectors, the Easter show was pretty much a bust. Through the doors at 9:30 sharp, full of expectation, then the big let-down. Actually very few badges about, and at least 5 regular vendors didn't show up, which cut down the offerings tremendously. Slim pickings otherwise, at least for KC collectors. I couldn't even find a measly Royal Canadian Dental Corps badge, for heaven's sake. How sad is that?

Marways has a beautiful Yukon Machine Gun Bn cap badge and an Eaton's Machine Gun Brigade collar, which stood out, and there was some nice CEF stuff other places as well, but otherwise I thought it was a pretty bleak field.
