Default Memorial badge?

Hi all,

I "rediscovered" this small pin back badge recently. I have seen others like this but not encountered one that was engraved with the name of the fallen soldier before and yet clearly this was how it was meant to be used.

CWGC and the medal index cards have given me details of the man, but if anyone else would like to add to what I know that would be appreciated.

I was also intrigued by the back stamp with its curious image of John Bull and the trade mark too.

What else did they make and does anyone know much about them? Presumably we are talking about the 1920's at the earliest.

No one got any ideas about the maker? Must be pretty rare...
