Default Irish Guards Wolfhound Mascot Coat.

You probably require a certain type of dog to pull off the correct look for this!
Not even listed in ebay militaria. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GENUINE-RARE-I...item3efb2f2f5b

My son, aged three, at the time, and slightly apprehensive, met the said hound in Alexander gardens in Windsor this summer. Fitted with a small saddle my son could have been taken for a ride. Rather sweet that he has a winter coat!

Not sure where the seller gets his info from!!!! The Irish are the only current British Guards Regiment to have a living mascot. Perhaps he will produce one for Jacob the Goose next?

The link below the text "Regimental Details" has some intersting facts and gives more details about Jacob farther down!

Died in Croydon... hmm... not sure I would ever want that on my headstone. Careful Andy, before we know it there will be goose sized Georgian gorgets available all over the internet and even spoons used by geese to make cap badges and before we know it airborne wings... now those would have to be fakes as any good goose will tell you the QM equiped them direct...
