Note * QC officers collars in Bz and Sil gilt were produced and worn by the 4th , 7th and 8th Hussars

It does seem odd to me too Tony,the 9th and the 12th Lancers have anodised collars. yet the 9th cap badge is of dubious origin.

There are a lot of unknown answers to the collectors of our hobby today , maybe people in the know we’re aware amalgamations were on the horizon and were holding out on the change of KC to QC. Badges .

Strange that the officers QC were produced and worn .

Officers badges were bought so could be made at once rather than the issued ORs ones that would have lots of k/c still in stock to us eup before any q/c version was made.
